Project Description
Recently the Los Angeles Music Center underwent a $41 million renovation, part of which was the fountain the plaza of the center. Freedom® Chemical Corporation was contracted to supply the materials for the waterproofing the outdoor fountain.
Innovative Painting & Waterproofing shot blasted the concrete fountain between CSP 3-7 to remove any of the previous coating and to prepare the surface for the FreedomTuff® 6160 epoxy primer, the fountain was then sprayed with FreedomTuff® 2202 polyurea. The polyurea gave the fountain a very durable and seamless waterproof membrane.
The results of the use of FreedomTuff® Guardian-WF™ give this beautiful fountain problem free use for years to come.
The FreedomTuff® product line is a revelation of what Polyureas, Polyurethanes, Polyaspartics and Epoxies are about. When so many products have been “made” for maximum impact, at Freedom® Chemical Corporation we’ve been content to let our products speak quietly. No need to shout when you have something special to say.
