Solution: Division 7 Consulting selected Freedom Chemical’s Guardian-Deck to provide long lasting protection for the high traffic area of the parking area.  The rooftop project used the combination of the products to provide excellent thermal stability; abrasion and chemical resistance; color and gloss retention; and durable installations with no odor, and fast return to service.  For example, Freedom Chemical’s Freedom Tuff 6160 is a two component 100% solids epoxy primer designed to treat new and existing concrete, masonry, and wood and is used with Freedom Tuff 1095 tape over all joints and cracks.  Freedom Chemical’s Freedom Tuff 2190 is a two-component spray applied 100% pure aromatic polyurea, that is an elastomeric protective coating that is flexible, abrasion, and impact resistant. It forms a continuous seamless membrane of a desired thickness on concrete and is designed for the GuardianDeck™. Lastly, Freedom Chemical’s Freedom Tuff 4300 is a 100% solids two-component hand-applied aromatic polyurethane used as a protective or waterproof coating with good chemical and abrasion resistance, it’s designed for use as a base or intermediate coat. Its quick gel and set time make it convenient for multiple passes.  And Freedom Tuff 4000 is spray or roller applied for use on concrete, wood and metal surfaces, is insensitive to moisture and can be applied in one or more passes.
